The Economy of the United States and the World Depend on Consumer Transactions.

Whether you are borrowing money for your student loans or are purchasing an automobile, house, or
computer you as a consumer are dealing with areas of the law you probably know little about. More likely than
not, at some point in your lifetime you will experience some kind of problem dealing with a consumer
transaction. Regardless of the cause of the problem, whether it be from miscommunication, accident, or fraud,
the result is an increased cost to you as the consumer as well as the government in lost productivity. A few
more examples of consumer issues are drugs that cause major health side effects, mortgages that go awry,
insurance companies that refuse to pay for valid claims, and accidents from faulty products.

If you think you've been the victim of a violation of consumer protection laws, you need to consult with an
attorney as soon as possible.  Most states and the federal court system have time limits on when a case can be
filed.
